“Owners obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making this a lovely and comfortable place to stay. We were able to witness spectacular sunsets from the the deck surrounding our tent. Be aware that this is dark country, so a local rooster will wake you up early! Only reasons for the 4 stars above: one of the restrooms was out-of-order, so we did not get private restroom as advertised. It wasn’t a big deal, though. Also, would recommend owners mow grass more frequently as walking through……

“Very nice location on Seneca Lake. Property was clean and well stocked. View across the lake was beautiful although weather prevented us from sitting out as much as possible. Driving down the single lane road was challenging as twice there were work trucks blocking the road that were challenging to squeeze by.”

The blanket is very smelly

"The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn."
