“Hotel room was decent with housekeeping everyday. They had a good breakfast buffet (no hot items available) & all day coffee/tea. Never got to using the pool since it was cooler weather. Overall good accommodation if you are visiting the area.”
“My only negative for this stay was that during the last week, their elevator kept breaking down and had to take the stairs from the 3rd floor. Other than that one minor thing, i absolutely loved this place and will definitely book again in the future. ”
“Conveniently located in center of town with shops and restaurants at walking distance. As a consequence, there’s quite a bit of street noise. Eat plugs drown it out. Rooms and beds are comfortable. Friendly staff. Good value for money. ”

The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn.”
“My boyfriend and I have stayed in the yurts a few times and we love it. It’s quiet, right on the lake. The cell reception is minimal (which is a nice break for the both of us) we absolutely love it here. It’s a short drive to penn yan for coffee or shopping or ice cream. Neither of us are drinkers but if you like wine, there are also several wineries nearby. Overall this is a great little getaway that we will keep coming back to. ”

“The cabins were quaint and peaceful. The fresh farm to table…made from scratch breakfast was superb! The homemade grape juice was made from their vineyard. They gave great recommendations on where to go and restaurants. A wonderful experience! ”
“Stayed for 3 days The view of the property is excellent. We stayed at Lake View building, Nice room setting and clean, the bed is comfortable. The breakfast however was not so satisfactory in the availability of coffee and variety of the selections. The fall in the state park, is disappointing though.”
