“Well the pictures are great but they don’t do it justice. My wife and I needed a relaxing weekend getaway and this property was perfect! We do our own cooking and the grill and griddle were perfect for us. We used pretty much the whole place. The table with umbrella and the lounge chairs with umbrella on the deck, the beach chairs and umbrellas at the private beach, the deck chairs on the deck overhanging the river and the fire pit. It rained for awhile Saturday so we stayed dry playing cards on……

“The cabin was located in the perfect spot for a family vacation. It was extremely clean and well kept. Communicating with the owner was very easy and she is very nice and friendly. My family and I enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to booking again next year. ”

“We enjoyed our 3 day stay. The Big Cabin was just right for the 4 of us. Really enjoyed the big back porch after a long day. If anything negative, it would be that there was only 1 bed that wasn't a bunk bed. Look forward to staying again.”

“The cabin and grounds were nice and clean. Our friends stayed in the cabin next to us and we enjoyed being able to be together on the grounds, but still have our own space. We were shuttled to and from the river, the staff was very friendly and helpful. ”

“Our stay was wonderful! Austin could not have been more accommodating, kind, and helpful. Unfortunately the river flooded during the last few days of our stay. On one day we took my 6 year old granddaughter to a nice water park and the other day we went to a bunch of flea markets and antique shops. The lemonade house grill and 1808 public house restaurants were sooo good every time we went for both lunch and dinner! Doniphan is a nice little town that i will definitely return to and will……

“We stayed over Christmas, so we didn’t get a chance to fully enjoy the outdoor setting (which would have been awesome in the summer) but the cabin was cozy and secluded.You know when the directions to get there include the words “ANOTHER cattle guard,” it’s gonna be a perfect retreat from the chaos at the end of a long day visiting family. ”

“This is our second time staying in this home. We all had a great time on Current River. There was small sand bar in front of the cabin the grandkids loved. The host Chris replied quickly with my questions.”
