“Sadly, this property didn't live up to how it was presented online. When we got there, we were surprised to find that the property wasn't a house but rather a converted former college faculty housing unit (this is problematic because we travel with our dogs). The housing unit sits on the former Sue Bennett College campus and some of the buildings are vacant and run down. This made us very uncomfortable and we were concerned about our safety and that of our vehicle overnight. The rooms looked as……

“Melody was a wonderful and thoughtful host. We had everything we could have wanted or needed including wood for the fire pit. The pictures do not do the property justice. The apartment is gorgeous and very comfortable. The yard was wonderful. We have friends here that we visit at least annually and this will be my go to spot for lodging moving forward. ”

“The place does not exist. Could not find it. Called the host. Host had phone on not accepting calls. I was in the area for my mom's funeral. Had to scramble to find another place to stay. ”

“This property is in the perfect location for getting to so many trails! The size was just right for 2 of us. The colors & decorations are so bright & cheery. She has literally ANYTHING you would need! It’s so nice to come to a place that thinks of things the guests may have forgotten. ☺️ It is also super close to a restaurant & ice cream shop which is convenient if you don’t feel like cooking!”

“It was a very nice, clean apartment. Everything we needed was there. Very quiet. Once you find where it’s located it’s easy to get to. It is a second floor apartment so there are stairs to climb. Some people may need to know that. Overall we had an enjoyable stay. Very easy driving distance to Paintsville which was great for us. We recommend staying!”
