“The perfect place to stay for a few days if you want to be in the downtown business district of Quito. Lots of restaurants within walking distance as well as the Megamaxi supermarket, Carolina park and cinema. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and Carmen was an absolute sweetheart. “After we finally got checked in, turned the AC on and it was not cold. Owner told me it would cool down and to let her know if I didn't need it "cold like hers (friend's room) I would be fine but I could switch it in the morning. Let me be clear, the AC did not work AT ALL and when we returned it was hotter in the room than outside at 9pm. Couldn't open the windows or doors because the of the mosquitoes. The owner was not on site, so I ended up having to share the room with my friend instead of……
