“Cute room in a converted turn-of-the-century home. The owner is sweet and staff are on hand to make breakfast for you between 6:30 and 9:00 am (you just need to tell them when you will be awake). We were able to arrange for transport to and from the hotel. Nice decorative touches throughout the home and a lovely garden. Small downsides: 1. The room we were in had stains on the carpet and mildew in the shower -- both things that can be fixed, and weren't overwhelming negative factors. 2. I……

“Mario and Blanca run a fantastic operation at Casa El Eden. We are just off a four-night stay with them and couldn’t be happier with our visit. Mario could not have been kinder and more helpful. Want something specific? He can help. Laundry needed? Same day. Need a recommendation or info? Done - and/or he calls a friend. He really went out of his way to ensure that our every question was answered, and every need met. He helped arrange airport transportation both ways and even helped deliver……

“The hotel is in a very nice building, with a nice courtyard. We asked for a room next to the courtyard. The room was fine but the bathroom had an awful sewer smell. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The location is great, with easy walking to sites, restaurants, and shops. I’m not sure if I would come back due to the smell in my room.”

“The Casa Gangotena was perfection! The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was gracious and attentive. We stayed in a very comfortable, large room with a spectacular view of the Plaza de San Francisco. We enjoyed breakfast and a wonderful dinner at the hotel and loved that the menu included local cuisine. Plus, the prices were reasonable - we would have easily paid twice as much at home for a meal of the same caliber. You also shouldn't miss a late afternoon cocktail on the rooftop!”

“Such a beautiful and unique property and everybody was so lovely. I wish more people would have the chance to stay here. It was fairly empty…. We had a two-story room with a wood-burning fireplace downstairs. I have never stayed somewhere with that sort of amenity.! ”

“Me preocupo la seguridad estuve dos noches y alquilamos dos calañas la primera noche tuvimos un temblor de 5.9 alas 2:30 am no había internet nunca hubo teléfono disponible en la habitación salimos para ver a nuestra amistad ala otra cabaña y en el lobby no había nadie en los caminos las luces apagadas tuvimos q caminar con linternas No fueron a verificar el estado de nosotros en ningún momento lo mínimo q esperaba era q por lo menos fueran alas cabañas para saber cómo estaba .Me pregunto si……
