“This is under new ownership/management. They are working hard to upgrade. I stayed 2 nights. There are a few people who are temporarily staying long term, but it’s quiet and friendly. Overall, the room was nice, with TV, refrigerator, no freezer, microwave, coffee pot, hairdryer, and safe. The space where the toilet sits is a little tight. (Probably built in the 50’s, but very clean and well kept.) ”

“The house was immaculate, lots of little helpful details as well, from a binder of information to items like toothpaste if you forgot your own, and snacks (which made my college student immensely happy). If anything was amiss, the property owner responded immediately. You can see Smith Hall from the porch so that was a huge plus! I wish check in was a bit earlier than 4 pm. We will definitely be back again. ”

“The staff was very nice and available to assist when needed. The cottage we stayed in was very quaint and inviting. I would definitely stay there again for my next visit! ”

“Jim and Laurie were wonderful and the amount of love and care they take to ensure your stay is perfect was evident. The rooms were spacious and serene, the whirpool tub was a plus for relaxing, and everything you could need is available. The breakfast was wonderful and the animals added to the entire experience. Elvis was a bit of a show off, Roodie loved chin rubs, and Humphrey was an absolute mush! Our only regret was we couldn't stay longer. We will definitely be back, hopefully soon!”

“My wife and I spent our anniversary here and enjoyed the large indoor pool. It was heated to be comfortable during a colder day. Even though it rained most of the week, having the pool made things nice. We cooked most of our meals, and the the kitchen was beyond our imagination. All the top of line appliances and fully furnished is more than you’d expect. ”

“Laura and Darrell are amazing hosts! Their cabin is beautiful. They have included so many special touches and amenities in their cabin that you will NEVER find anywhere else. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they had a neon birthday sign. A yummy birthday cake, a birthday card, bottle of wine and meat and cheese platter. The cabin has everything you could possibly want and then some! Hot tub, robes, binoculars, battery candles, lit walkways and bridge. Babbling brook, screened in……
