We stayed in a very comfortable, large room with a spectacular view of the Plaza de San Francisco. We enjoyed breakfast and a wonderful dinner at the hotel and loved that the menu included local cuisine. Plus, the prices were reasonable - we would have easily paid twice as much at home for a meal of the same caliber. You also shouldn't miss a late afternoon cocktail on the rooftop!”

The restaurant was lovely and ornately adorned, the rooftop seating area was gorgeous, and the food and drinks were wonderful. I felt safe since you had to be buzzed in and out of the property. My room was a garden view looking into the atrium--so pretty! My room had EVERYTHING I needed. If you don’t mind steep roads, the property is definitely walkabout to all of historic Quito. “Excellent hotel. Staff is tremendously helpful - helped counsel us on things to do and transportation and were actively looking out for us. The rooms were wonderful for our family. The interior courtyard was inviting and the rooftop restaurant was delicious. All staff were so warm and welcoming and Dennis in particular was wonderful when we ate at the restaurant. Lunch was delicious - breakfast is fine but not as differentiating as the rest of the experience. We could hear a woman’s choir……

“Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay. We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury.”
