“Rooms weren't that great but they SEEMED to be clean. A few days later, after being at home, itchy bed bug bites started popping up all over our bodies. Talk about disgusting! Went to doctor and sure enough we were bitten by numerous bed bugs.”

“I usually don’t stay in Oroville when I come to visit family, but since my mother was in the ICU at Oroville Hospital I wanted to be closer. The Villa accepts pets. 20 a night per pet is excessive though. Places on the higher end are usually $10 a night and cap at $50 (if they charge at all). If there is a next time I’ll make sure to bring my pet’s ESA certificate. The place was quiet. The parking lot is mostly enclosed. “The only negative was actually finding the hotel. We could see the building, but finding access to its parking lot was a different story. GPS didn't really help either. There was not adequate signage on the streets to help us navigate through the various parking lots of other businesses to find the Hampton Inn. It took us some trial and error.”

“The staff was super friendly, helpful and professional. We were there for an organized bike ride and they opened the free breakfast an hour early to accommodate all the cyclists. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, including healthy ones! The coffee was great too! There were even fresh berries. As we were doing the ride the next day, we asked if they would store our luggage to keep it safe. They instead offered us late check-out until 2pm! We were able to return to our room and shower……

“This was a very spacious, comfortable room. I really liked how quiet the surrounding area was. The only downside was the fact that the toilet was not tightly fastened to the floor, which created a small puddle upon flushing. Fortunately, I did not have any personal items in the bathroom. The breakfast options were limited, but much appreciated.”
