“I took my 13yr old granddaughter away for 2nights ,the hotel was amazing very modern just what a teenager wonts ,we had a brilliant time the pool , jacuzzi& stream room where brilliant lovely and clean and very friendly couldn’t do enough for you. What’s her name?we give a big shout out to Zara who was on reception what a lovely kind & friendly lady she even gave us a free drink to take away with us overall it was outstanding ”

“Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms”

“The hotel was a quaint old British house with high ceilings and wide stairs. A little bit dated and possibly in need of some cosmetic improvements, but very nice, quiet and relaxed. The rooms were relatively spacious and clean, and the breakfast was very good. Staff were extremely friendly and polite, and the location was close enough to the town centre and the train station, without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a busy street. A park was nearby and some nice pubs within easy……

“It was not a very bad hotel but it happened to have some car event outside the hotel at the carpark and so we were not able to get a parking space. And I heard that these events happened all the time so just in case if you are bumping into one of there it’s gonna be a big trouble ( terrible traffic and no parking space till 10pm)”

“Great setting but really gets very busy around weddings, had 10 minute wait for food at breakfast buffet. My room had a smell of smoke coming through the bathroom extractor which was not pleasant. Gym changing rooms seem better days… ”
