However, to my pleasant surprise, our family room (253) was simple but nicely refurbished. A few minor downsides: the room was very hot on arrival, though a free-standing A/C had been set up. “The staff were very kind and the room was very clean. Our stay just happened to coincide with a heat wave and it was very hot and a bit challenging with opening the windows since our room was located just above the rubbish area. We kept the windows closed a lot to avoid the smell and the flies. They were very helpful in providing a fan, lots of ice and water to help keep us cool.
