“After returning to the area after 16 years, we chose this hotel for the personal touch over other chain options. The hotel's staff was amazing and accomodating. They provided great service and every meal was delicious. The Thomas Paine Museum was of special interest and full of information for this history buff. We cant wait to book our next trip.”
“I have stayed in the hotel for several time and always enjoy it. A great hotel if you want to visit the city. I never try to dinner but the breakfast is superb. Also a nice bar which provides great selection of drinks”
“The room and food was good. The great wine list with many options by the glass, nice outdoor areas.
Unfortunately, I was woken early by the cleaners outside my room running water and banging buckets.
Breakfast was okay, only one person was serving and quite a lot of other staff standing around.

“Low stress overnight trip. We took a chance on an early check in and the team were calm and relaxed and were very helpful, we booked breakfast which was superb value and utterly delicious- great veggie breakfast and good coffee and extras available. We stayed in a lodge room, which was perfectly adequate- comfy bed and free WiFi.
A few areas to improve from a decorative point of view but a good value and relaxing stay.

“The bed was comfortable. Bathroom very clean. Carpet had a couple of sticky spots. Breakfast was excellent. The grass verges were littered with plastic bottles and old food wrappings. It was a bit windy and could possibly have come from full bins.”
