“We've stayed here a few times when visiting Morecambe. The hotel is well situated, the staff are great, and it's all pretty clean and well maintained. The main drawback is that the rooms are small, and we've stayed in a few different ones, this trip being the most cramped. The staff are lovely, the restaurant is better than you might expect, and everyone is chatty. If you're travellng light or solo for a couple of nights it's OK, but if you've got luggage, and aren't that slim, you may have some……

“Stunning boutique hotel with superbly designed, extremely stylish luxury rooms. Gorgeous rain shower. Thoughtful touches and everything you could need for a wonderful stay. Attached is a smart French restaurant with a superb reputation if you’d like a luxurious evening meal or breakfast too! Very short walk to Lancaster town centre, the castle, Judges Lodgings etc and countryside walks with views just to the rear of the hotel. Parking permit for the car park to the rear was provided for the……

“We enjoyed everything about the hotel the manager and his staff were excellent when we arrived the hotel was very busy.due to the weather and a party outside but the staff were excellent ”

“The proprietor was very welcoming, the room was clean and tidy. There was also tea,coffee, biscuits and water available in the room. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. They do not do breakfast but the proprietor recommended places where we could obtain an evening meal with a pint of real ale and also some breakfast the following morning. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“Lovely weekend away, enjoyed our stay at the Homestead, Maria and Kevin were fantastic hosts. Melling is very quiet so you will need to drive to a shop/pub, that said we did walk to the pub, 45 mins. Definitely recommend and were made very welcome in their beautiful home.”
