“El hotel es precioso, nos recibió María, la dueña, y no puede ser más maravillosa, siempre con una sonrisa y pendiente de que todo estuviera a nuestro gusto. “Quinta da Barroca is an excellent place for a relaxed family time in Douro or for an event. It lacks some maintenance or improvement in some things (such as the children's park and the sauna/jacuzzi), but the houses and the scenery are great. Breakfast could have some more variety, but it's good enough, the fruit is excellent, apples right from the tree ”

“We had such a wonderful stay. The rooms were fantastic and had a view of the valley. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our family. Breakfast was great and can be enjoyed looking out at the beautiful view. We only had one night stay but we would most definitely come back and stay for longer. Highly recommend!”

“Nice hotel with room facing river. Parking is a challenge at peak times since at marina and narrow driveway; however, ended up with street parking both nights. Restaurant requires reservation. Area to reach hotel is beautiful but be aware rural narrow roads. Overall, nice quiet stay outside city.”

“Fantastisk härligt besök! Underbar liten, mysig och hemtrevlig vingård, med snäll och tillmötesgående servicepersonal och magisk utsikt från terrassen och poolen. Vi kommer definitivt tillbaka! Vinet från vingården var dessutom den bästa vi har haft på hela resan. Bra att veta är att snacks eller vin finns enbart tillgänglig fram tills 19 på kvällen (man kan dock förbeställa så det finns på rummet när man kommer hem). Utöver är allting något spartansk, men enkelheten passade oss utmärkt och……
