“Nice, clean and in great area ”

“The hotel is very nice. It was comfortable and clean. The only two notes are that the shower head was not detachable, making it very difficult to use and the window in the room wasn't properly soundproofed. The hotel is close to a major traffic artery, so if you're a light sleeper you might want to ask for a room away from the road. ”

“Nice room on the front but could do with an update in areas, but apart from that staff very helpful. Food and drink nice choice.”

“Fantastic hotel, have stayed here many times before and always been impressed. Staff are friendly and professional, food in the restaurant is excellent quality and great value for money. The only slight negative on this trip was that the room was cold, and no matter what I did to try and change the temperature it didn’t get any warmer. Other than that it was a great stay.”

“This is a great guest house and who includes breakfast anymore?? My cousin and I stayed for one night and our room was very warm, cozy, and the owner made us very welcome. He went above and beyond with breakfast the next morning and cooked up custom meals for each of us! I would definitely stay here again since it is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the Largs train station, and who doesn’t love excellent hospitality and service?! Highly recommended”

“Old but comfortable place, in a very quiet street. I stayed in a standard double room (No.21), which was spacious and clean. Be aware that the heating only comes on in the evening, though. There's private parking, although I arrived and departed by train; Crosshill station is only six or seven minutes' walk away, with regular services to and from the city centre. Although there are no facilities other than a kettle, tea and coffee in the room, there are plenty of shops, cafés and takeaways……

“Basic room, but it does what it says on the tin. Good value for money. Nice towels. Bed ok. Curtains don't quite fit the window but managed to hold them in place with a bag. Would definitely stay here again for a short stay and when just looking for a place to sleep.”
