“We stayed in the cottage while attending a UF graduation. It was a pleasure staying away from the congestion of G'ville. Instead, we enjoyed a beautiful drive via 441 right into town, about 15 minutes away. The mattresses were pretty soft - a 2 night max for me, thus the 4 stars. But the cottage was comfortable, we loved sitting on the front porch, enjoying the breeze & the scent of jasmine. The location didn't lend itself to taking walks, but there are nearby options for that.”

“Had a great experience. Loved the feel of going back in time.”

“The cabin was perfect and exactly what we needed. The lake was everything we hoped for. We kayaked, fished, swam and reconnected. The water is clear. The WiFi works well within the cabin and porch area. Make sure to map your way out before leaving. There is a store about three miles away just in case you forgot anything . The host was kind and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about Ed and Wanda. I definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway as a couple or a family. ”

“The pool table and fire pit kept us occupied so the entire vacation stayed entertaining. The beds were comfortable and the coffee pot kept our mornings right. We hope others get to experience the same as our family did! Thanks again!”

“Beautiful home, nice stay. We enjoyed it. If I had to say anything negative it be that I noticed some thick Cobb webs at the cathedral ceiling in living room, and the plants around the back yard deck and outdoor table need to be really cut. The seating outback was very rusted. Beautiful scenery though. ”

“Our stay at this precious cottage was exactly what we needed after traveling and festivities at college graduation. The decor was obviously carefully curated by the owners with impeccable antiques as well as one of a kind crafted pieces. We were all extremely comfortable in the large beds with fresh clean linens, the adorable bathroom and full kitchen. The wooded grounds were interesting and had the fresh smell of jasmine wafting across the yard. The hosts were responsive and kind beyond the……

“We stayed during an evacuation from hurricane Milton. It was a little hard to find due to our GPS issue but we were able to navigate on our own. Our first impression was the tranquility of the property. The cottage was very clean & our host had turned on the a/c so it was very comfortable. The property owner came over & made us feel very welcome & we enjoyed meeting his sweet dogs. We were told we had free access to explore the property which is absolutely beautiful. The cottage was well……
