“A fantastic property set in quiet, idyllic surroundings. A great layout and had all mod cons that you could think of. The pictures do not do it justice and we will definitely be back. Our only issue which was out of the owners control which was a power cut to all of the surrounding area due to Storm Darragh, but they were on hand to do everything they could to assist during it. ”

“Wir waren mit 5 Personen 9 Tage im Haus und fanden es sehr gemütlich dort. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht (außer einem Föhn). Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Lediglich im Wohnzimmer hat uns ein Sitzplatz gefehlt, die Sofas sind für 2 Leute in Ordnung, aber für 3 zu klein. Insgesamt war es im Haus schön.”

“We didn’t have unrealistic expectations for a property under £200 a night in Devon over a bank holiday—but we did expect it to be clean and safe. It wasn’t. The living room had a large stained, filthy rug. The couch was also stained. Pillows smelled of body odour. Pans, bowls, mugs, and the fridge were dirty. The floor left our socks black. The shower had black mould, and the toilet needed bleach. Its pull cord was brown halfway down. Walls were stained, and the house smelled unpleasant. The……

“We loved our stay at Rock House Cottage. It was super cute and cozy and had everything we needed plus lots of thoughtful extras from the hosts like bread, milk and jams. Excellent walking from the cottage or jump in the car to explore further a field. There is lots of information in the cottage of attractions and walking across Devon. Nice enclosed garden for our dog and with furniture to make use of the space. Communication from the hosts before our arrival was excellent. Nice pub a mile……
