“Rock House is a charming lake house on a large, water-front lot with beautiful views of Lake Michigan. The beach is down a bluff, where you take stairs or motorized trams, which were pretty cool. The beach is sandy and you can walk for a very long way, if interested. We had a great time and highly recommend the property.”

“This was our second stay and we once again loved it. There’s plenty of space for 2 families. The house is in walking distance to downtown where the parade and fireworks were. We love South Haven so much and can’t wait to go back! ”

“The location couldn’t be better! Right in the middle of downtown Saugatuck, it was perfect. And the room impressed my husband. He thought it was much better than a hotel room. I have stayed in some hotels where the bed wasn’t even very comfortable, but this bed was extremely comfortable! And the shower was maybe the best shower I’ve ever used! Two shower heads and great water pressure, not the wimpy drizzle it can sometimes be from a rain one. I liked the Aveda samples, too. Oh, and we……

“The home is perfect for a family of 5 or 6, spacious w two living areas and a lovely backyard w corn hole, picnic table, woods and plenty of spots to relax and enjoy the quiet. The front yard has a huge fire pit and we saw deer every evening, 2 minute drive to the beach and park.Large kitchen, comfortable beds, clean, two bathrooms and so quiet, we all slept well.”

“We loved our stay at this property. The house is new with plenty of space and bathrooms. Great location just walking distance to downtown. We had an awesome stay and are considering coming back next year!Only small comment is that the bathrooms did not have basic toiletries like shampoo / soap which was a surprise! ”

“We didn’t check in until after 8 pm after a long day of shopping so didn’t use the kitchen facilities but everything we would have needed is available. It is a lovely place and close to shopping. Only issue was upstairs guests must of had children and we could hear the running back and forth. By 10 pm it was quiet so they were respectful of lower tenants. Highly recommend staying at this location. ”

“Good place for larger group. Quiet street. Comfortable rooms. Good air conditioning and WiFi.”

“Wow! What a neighborhood. We loved Douglas, and the beach access here is just amazing. We swam in Lake MI every day. The beach was perfect for our kids (ages 7-13). There was a nice sandbar that was about 100ft from shore that our kids loved to swim to.”

“We had a great stay at this house near the beach. The location was perfect, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend!”
