“The location couldn’t be better! Right in the middle of downtown Saugatuck, it was perfect. And the room impressed my husband. He thought it was much better than a hotel room. I have stayed in some hotels where the bed wasn’t even very comfortable, but this bed was extremely comfortable! And the shower was maybe the best shower I’ve ever used! Two shower heads and great water pressure, not the wimpy drizzle it can sometimes be from a rain one. I liked the Aveda samples, too. Oh, and we……

“We loved our stay at this property. The house is new with plenty of space and bathrooms. Great location just walking distance to downtown. We had an awesome stay and are considering coming back next year!Only small comment is that the bathrooms did not have basic toiletries like shampoo / soap which was a surprise! ”

“We didn’t check in until after 8 pm after a long day of shopping so didn’t use the kitchen facilities but everything we would have needed is available. It is a lovely place and close to shopping. Only issue was upstairs guests must of had children and we could hear the running back and forth. By 10 pm it was quiet so they were respectful of lower tenants. Highly recommend staying at this location. ”

“Great property, very clean! The location was absolutely perfect! The only time we drove the car was to head to the beach and to sagutuck brewing. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again! ”

“This property was amazing! The house was so clean! We felt like we were at a home away from home. We had such great communication with the owner and never once felt uncomfortable. There was plenty of space for the entire family. Would love to stay here again!”

“We (8 women) had a wonderful time staying in this old house with lots of character. We spent most of the time outside on the deck (quiet and private due to the greenery). The house is close to the beach, town, restaurants, and activities. It was well stocked including plenty of bath towels and beach towels. We recommend the Interurban bus (call in advance), Oval Beach, Dune Rides, Fenn Valley Vineyards, and the Windmill Island Gardens. ”

“The house was perfect for our needs. Decor was beautiful. location couldn't be any better. We were there for a family wedding at the Felt Estate. ”

“We had a wonderful family week at the Butterfly Cottage! It was perfect for me, my husband, our 10 week old daughter, my parents, and our pup. My parents stayed in the bungalow, allowing everyone to have their own space. Our dog loved the fenced in yard. We had everything we needed in the house, which is cozy and quiet. Saugatuck is beautiful and laid back, and we were able to walk everywhere - breakfast, coffee, dinner, the waterfront. The only time we needed our car was to go to the grocery.……

“The place is beautiful, cozy, incredibly centrally located, and absolutely great! I stayed with my mom and two young kids and we had a blast! It was clean, the back screened in porch wonderful for family game nights, and well stocked with everything that we needed. Communication and check-in were super smooth. Would stay here again anytime!”
