“This place understands what hospitality is. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed as if it was our home. Our bags were taken to our room and we had a welcome drink on the terrace overlooking the spectacular Douro Valley. We joined other guests for a family style meal and enjoyed getting to know people from many different countries. Amazing place to relax, appreciate the area, with a wonderful team to help with questions and make the visit super comfortable.”

“Three of us stayed Tabuaco for the vineyard visit. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained; the only main issue is that there's no elevator, so we had to draw our luggage for a couple stairs to reach the lobby and then three floors to the room. I was hoping that the room would be a bit bigger as it's a triple room. It's was in a quiet and clean neighborhood and we accidentally found a bar close by, quelha funda bar, which we love so much. The atmosphere was great and the draft beer……

“Hervorragendes Kleinidyll. Haus seit September 2024 geöffnet, daher alles neu und auf höchstem Standard. Personal zuvorkommend, stets hilfsbereit und nett. Frühstück authentisch und hat alles was Du dir wünscht. Abendessen exzellent in der Qualität und Ausführung.”

“Charmerende. Dejligt værelse med udsigt til poolen. Vær opmærksom på at nogen værelser har vinduer højt, så man ikke kan se ud (kælderen). Flere grupper af stole/borde udenfor, så man kunne sidde og hygge. Flinke værter. Morgenmad ok, men der manglede hele tiden noget (var der i 3 dage). I området var der gode afmærkede vandrerstier. Et stort supermarked. ”

“The hotel is rather small (a very good thing for me!), but the room I had was large and the bathroom too. It was modern and very clean, with A/C. It was called Mallus and had a French door to the street which meant I had to have the blind down all the time for privacy, really the only drawback to it all. The breakfast is very good, fresh, and the manager very kind and dedicated. I highly recommend!”
