“Vassar visitors: stay here! Le Chambord is comfortable and well-maintained. It is a historic property that has clearly been well kept by the Curry sisters! The bedroom was HUGE - furnished beautifully with a desk, dresser, couch, chair, mini-fridge, closet, and a king sized bed. The bathroom was fabulously renovated with a new shower, floor tiles, and countertop. The parlor has a beautiful chess board and Scrabble set - we sat and played in the morning. “Just off the Vassar campus and a couple blocks from dining district (heavy on pizza, Mexican and other student-friendly fare, but some “real” restaurants also), with on-site parking lot that has several charging stations. Parklike setting with seating areas outdoors and also in the lobby. On-site restaurant was NOT $50-$100 as Google reports! More like $30-$40, and we enjoyed our selections and drinks.
