“Right on the coast. Large rooms that are not boring/generic. Nice common areas. Numerous historic pictures on the walls. Friendly staff. Nice welcome drink and nice dinner & breakfast. Will definitely come back.”

“The booking was made last minute due to an appointment change. The owner was there to meet us and got us checked in and sorted. The cottage was clean and neat and spacious. Items requested were made available in a timely manner. I had an enjoyable stay.”

“This was our second stay at Meridian Inn and it was just as we remembered. Fantastic location, just at one end of The Gap, but quiet. Close to Dover beach, surf lessons, and many restaurants. We had everything we needed in our room to prepare meals, and were able to enjoy them while seated on our balcony taking in the lovely view. Staff were incredible! From reception, housekeeping and the owner, who helped carry my suitcase up to our room. Our room was always clean and comfortable when we……

“Location and beach were great, perfect spot to watch the sunset! Market just a block away with several restaurants and taxis always waiting around the corner. Liam and Cyrus were on sight and amazingly helpful. They also secured us a rental car when they were sold out everywhere on line. ”

“The pics of the property are misleading. The rooms are very basic. Dated and sparse. I arrived at 3pm and the room was not ready. I had to wait until 5pm as the cleaners were out. I never saw any cleaners and my room was never freshened for the 4 days. There was also never anyone at the front desk. Never! Had to clean hair out of the drain pipe in order for shower to drain. There was a strong smell of marijuana coming from rooms, even though it was a no smoking property. No soap was provided so……
