“Great staff, bar was packed on arrival but we were checked in to our room straight away. Far too busy & noisy to eat in the bar, so they opened the restaurant for us and another couple so that we could eat in peace. Despite the number of customers we were served quickly and efficiently. Very good food. Room was a bit tired, flaking paint and in need of a bit of updating but the bed was comfortable and the room reasonably quiet even though on a main street. “Very nice hotel comfy and clean staff were accommodating the breakfast in the morning was very good. One thing I’d note is use the ear plugs left on the glass jar next to the bed, the high street can get busy in the early hours. ”
