“A nice hotel adjacent to the main road by Connell Bridge. We had room 8, which was a sea view room without a balcony. The room was very nice. All was very clean and looked new. The shower was excellent. A negative point is that the sun shines into the hotel all afternoon, so our room was extremely hot. The single window opens about 3 inches only. They provide a small fan but this is very ineffective. They should shut the blinds before guests arrive in sunny weather. We arrived about 5pm. Car……

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”

“The big bonus for this hotel is the staff, they are very friendly and helpful, plus the room we had was quiet, had a great shower and all the facilities we needed for an overnight stay. It has lovely views from its terrace and we had drinks on it watching the sunset. We also enjoyed our breakfast and dinner at it as well.”
