“I would step into this marvelous apartment- if I could step back in time! I was amazed at how beautiful and all the attention to detail. Perfect wall paper, Oriental carpets and so much more. A bit of a backstory. I made another reservation on VRBO and that other owner cancelled (shame on you Margo.). There I was at the last minute on graduation weekend with no where to stay. “I first stayed at the Ginger bread house in the 80ies not long after it became a B&B. It is just as wonderful now as it was then. From tea time to the stroll in the garden is was a magical stay. The one draw back was booking through VRBO. I was not able to contact the hostess directly and wasn't sure how to check in. It is best to make reservations by directly calling them. “The room was wonderful and bedding was great. Beautiful well maintained/restored historic property at the edge of a cute little town. Unfortunately midweek, the on-site restaurant and pub were closed, but there were a couple other options down the street. Absolutely delightful staff, very pleasant and accommodating.”
