“Me and two friends wanted to meet and play some guitar and catch up with each other. One lives in California, one lives in Michigan, and I live in Georgia. We’ve been friends for about 60 years. “Everything about Deer Ridge Lodge is exceptional ! It was the perfect place to meet our son's family for a mini vacation. The 7 of us had a delightful stay and we were fortunate to take in the Friday evening portion of Bluegrass on the Harpeth in the Center of Franklin. The teens had lots of fun in the game room and we took turns playing cornholes. My husband was a happy camper to be able to relax in the hot tub regardless of the hot weather. “Ignore all the people complaining about bugs. If you want to stay in a treehouse there will be bugs. The shower piping is literally connected to a tree, which is explicitly shown in the pictures. I am not sure why anyone would need to message the property owner as everything worked perfectly. A few interesting quirks in the bathroom but it’s a rustic treehouse in the woods. “We had 3 separate families meet up and we had room for everyone. Ages ranged from 6-75, and everyone had a plenty of room to either be alone, or gather in the living room. Our favorite spot was the porch with the hot tub and movie! The host left us bug spray, but we didn’t need out there, it was so nice and peaceful. Like all the other reviews, the place was immaculately cleaned and well decorated. Had everything we needed to grill out, too, including s’mores sticks! We just had an overall great……

“The home is adorable and welcoming. Comfy bed so we slept extremely well. Loved the rain shower head in the master bath. The front porch was our favorite spot to watch the fireflies and the heat lightening. We will be back for sure!”

“Convenient to town, walking distance to many things. Driving distance to excellent hiking and canoeing.Host was great, we had a little trouble with the door and her response was very quick and helpful. Cabin itself was clean, airy and very nice. There were many little things provided that made the stay easier, like coffee creamer, hairbrush, etc. Sitting on the porch watching the sun come up with a cup of coffee made my day.
