“This was like a piece of tranquil paradise in the middle of Galle Fort. It’s excellently located for exploring the fort and the building is beautifully preserved and offers excellent and spacious accommodation. We loved the room with a garden balcony, as we could watch and hear the world go by from the comfort of our room. “The Bartizan's rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom was gorgeous. The breakfast was generous, and we were given a packed breakfast on the day we left early. The staff were very attentive. It is located on the coast and walkable to loads of shops and restaurants. It was our favourite hotel in the two weeks we spent in Sri Lanka. ”

“The stay is very good. You will have a decent stay here and warm welcome from their staff. The morning breakfast is delicious. The room is clean. The staff also helped me to find a tuk tuk and give me advice on reasonable price. Just one thing to improve: They need to add a curtain on the top window coz ppl on the 2nd floor may see inside the room and give lower privacy. This is also too bright without curtain and wake me up in the morning.”
“The hotel staff are really helpful and polite. They are willing to tell me how to reach Mirissa Beach and Jungle Beach. One of the staff even provided me lots of details of catching a bus to Jungle beach. They are friendly and informative.”
“The hotel is beautiful with amazing views and excellent staff. The hotel has a free shuttle service between 8.30 and 4.00 to Jungle Beach and the temple. It’s also just ten minutes by tuktuk to Galle which cost about £1.50 - £2.00. The pool is lovely and the roof top bar sells great cocktails. We ate dinner at the hotel which was delicious and reasonably priced. They were very accommodating of our dietary requirements (vegetarian and vegan.) We had the Sri Lanka breakfast - again prepared……
