“A really beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location with extremely friendly staff members. The room was comfortable and spacious although the bathroom is perhaps a little dated now and the shower quite a squeeze (even for a size 12 woman) but having a bath was much appreciated. Our evening meal was good, though not exceptional but nothing to complain about. We were disappointed that the answer to our question as to whether we could have porridge without salt was a very firm 'no' but it was a nice……

“Great stay at the green dragon inn. Its a really old pub so if you are into modern, this will not suit you. The staff are brilliant. Food was good. The room was fantastic, better than we expected. Crisp white linens on the bed, fab pillows and duvet. Great nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this place.”

“The host is very friendly and the property it really nice, bed was a little hard, but nothing to complain about, food and drink at the pub are great and reasonably priced, very homely feel, welcoming and friendly. Watch out though there are a few pubs called the Fox and Hounds in the area, so make sure you go to the right one.”
