“This is the fourth time we have stayed at this Hotel. Staff are very friendly.”

“We enjoyed our stay at The Crossing. The breakfast was very good. The one thing I was surprised about was that our breakfast was not included with our room fee. We stayed at so many different places that I guess I just didn't check to see. But, we were a bit taken aback when after eating breakfast we were asked to settle the bill for it.”

“Hosts were very friendly and attentive, providing a great welcome and suggestions for dinner in the evening, as well as a recommendation of an activity to do the next day after we checked out. Bathroom was private for our room, though not connected to the room itself. The bathroom was very nice. Our room also had a sink in the bedroom itself. Bed was a bit soft - the mattress was not the most comfortable, but overall, no issue. We very much enjoyed our stay, and if we stay in the area again……

“Old school stately charm, the staff make an effort to provide a luxurious experience in this historically grand hotel. Great to have a bathtub, bathrooms have been renovated. Treats and coffee/tea provided in the room. Friendly and cozy pub for visitors and locals with full menu available. Grand, formal dining room and halls for guests. Typical Scottish decor, plaid carpets with random sections of scenic wallpaper amid beautiful old woodworking. Apparently Queen Victoria stayed here while in……

“Great place to stay if you love the outdoors”

“The hotel is located within some outstanding scenery with Loch Alvie literally on your doorstep. We were all made to feel welcome, including Dizzy the dog , and the chefs produced some delicious food as we sat near a blazing log fire. Room and bathroom were very clean and well appointed. The only grumble we would have is that we were charged for our dog's stay on a nightly basis, to cover additional cleaning, as opposed to per visit, you would only clean the room once even after 2 nights stay.”

“It was really good but check in is terrible they dont check in till dead on 3 which means big ques so the guest miss half their nite they need 2 address that if they staggered as they came in booked them in put the keys aside ready then hand them out ”
