“The place is lovely, and the cottage was very charming, but I felt like the place needed a better clean, especially considering the price. “Fresh & funky art-deco newness. Well appointed self-catered rooms that feels all new. However surprisingly the bed was creaky and sloppily springy so not the greatest of comfort there. Multiple construction across the roads in the area so if your'e a late sleeper this can be a rather big problem. Noise starts fairly early.”

“We could hardly have wished for a more wonderful way to start our trip to South Africa than staying at the Villa Rosa Guest House in Sea Point for 6 days. The location is perfect: one block from Main Road with all its shops and eateries, two blocks from the ocean front road with its long esplanade that is perfect for strolling. “Can’t recommend this hotel enough. We had such a lovely stay. The rooms were huge and the balcony was a huge added plus. Everyone working there was so friendly and went out of their way to help us. The location is beyond perfect- it’s super safe and walkable to the V&A and Oranjezicht market. Some reviewers negatively compared it to the neighboring Queen Victoria hotel, but we actually preferred how close the Dockhouse is to the pool area. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip to Cape……
