“St Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive. Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing……

“A lovely stay. A nice pub, with plenty of outside seating, and nice atmosphere inside. Good selection of drinks. A separate dining area made the evening meal feel more like eating in a restaurant Vs a pub. The food and service was very good. Dishes or the day and the specials added to an already sufficient menu. Breakfast was also very tasty. We stayed in room #1. It was much larger than expected, and with a sofa.
