“Great space for family! We will e returning ”

“This property was a perfect reunion spot for 7 ladies who decided (at the last minute) to forego an impersonal hotel and find a local place that had generous space for fellowship and story telling. This place had three such spots (a lovely dock), a sprawling back patio overlooking the tranquil lake (coffee spot daily!) and an indoor dining room table for late night chats. Three comfy queen beds and a bunk bed set-up provided more than enough room for us. Highly recommend. Host David was so……

“Spent my wife’s 40th birthday here. We loved it. Host was prompt with communication. House was clean and on a great spot on the lake and within minutes of Milledgeville. We plan to stay here again. ”

“Very nice property. Quiet street. Nice bedrooms. Lovely outdoor space in the back yard. A couple of things would have made it more pleasant but were certainly not deal breakers for staying there. We had three people staying, but there are only two chairs for the dining table in the kitchen. One of us had to stand for the three of us to eat together. Also, there was not a stopper that fit the tub to take a bath...more of a convenience than anything else. Hosts are good communicators and seem……

“Sooooo Adorable! It was a very refreshing & rejuvenating stay. There were lots of thoughtful little touches and had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and the hosts are very responsive. It's private, scenic & quiet, but conveniently close to town.We'll definitely return for another getaway and we're looking forward to our next visit! ”

“A renovated duplex with multiple handicap parking (perhaps a former doctor's office/residence?) in the shadow of the abandoned world's once-largest mental health asylum can be just the right stay for certain people, and just the wrong stay for others. Fortunately, we're the right kind of guests, and we appreciated the history of the Central State Hospital while also enjoying the convenience to downtown Milledgeville.
