“We decided to book a quick trip out to Granbury/Glen Rose to take the kids to Fossil Rim and Dinosaur Valley and came across this adorable A frame. We loved the property. There was just enough room for our family of 4. We were able to take advantage of the kayak and my husband and son had some fun. We got rained in part of the trip but we had plenty to do with board games and the mini pool table and foosball. “My husband and I brought our two young granddaughters for a few days this spring break. The cabin was lovely and just perfect for the four of us. The owners communicated with me from the moment I booked and check in was a breeze. Location was walkable to the lake and the fishing pier and my granddaughter loved the space to play around the cabin. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you for your hospitality! ”

“I needed a place to stay for a birthday party at a nearby house. The view was great, acess to the lake is not ideal if you do a summersummer thing and want to”

“Pros: 1. Great Access to the water 2. Store close by with onsite food 3. Boat Launch and 3 separate docks for boats, gas and fishing... 4. Cabins have basics, TV, microwave, coffee maker...and a iguana light in the bathroom in case you have jaundice... Cons: 1. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything from both sides of you..if people talk, the TV, etc...everything..be warned..take ear plugs.. 2. Internet barely works in your room, Cell service barely works in your room (Verizon) 3. Beds……

“This was a very cute place and very secluded. We were there for a wedding so didn't have free time to venture around much. Advise you to get there in the daylight as it is very dark driving on the road to the house. We would definitely stay here again.”

“This property is not for everyone. The main reason I say that is due to the layout. There are two very large bedrooms and a large bathroom upstairs. The kingsize beds are very comfortable. The stairway to the second floor is extremely steep with stairs that are very shallow. There is a warning sign at the base of the stairs asking folks to use the railing. It wold appear that most folks do because the railing is getting loose at the top of the stairs. What adds risk is that fact that the stair……

“We thought we’d do a lot more but it was so pleasant just absorbing that gorgeous lake view from inside as well as from the huge deck, that’s mostly what we wanted to do. Very comfortable and commodious. Various instructions need to be updated.”
