“We had a great stay. The property looks over the Sabie River and has a family of resident hippos to entertain you. The staff were friendly and Lucas in particular went above and beyond when my hire car had a puncture in a tyre and he went with me, after his shift finished,to the tyre repair place and helped me to get it fixed. I thoroughly recommend the lodge for providing the ambience and great setting of the really expensive luxury lodges but at a fraction of the price.”

“We stayed at the Sunbird Lodge for 3 nights, and it was very peaceful and quiet. It had two twin beds, a set of bunk beds, small kitchenette, television, air conditioning, desk and chair, as well as outdoor patio. The pool was clean and extremely warm, but refreshing. “Such a magical experience. The staff was incredible and really was the reason this was a memorable trip. Hayden was an incredible guide. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and outgoing nature made each day more enjoyable. We saw all big 5 including seeing all 5 during one day. We were very lucky to experience a lion pride kill as well. Also, the food was incredible at all meals. Can’t recommend this place enough! Incredible value overall for what you get.”

“This is an exceptional property in the Manyeleti Game Reserve adjacent to the Kruger National Park. It is a magical place where Impala's roam the property and the elephants come to drink water from the pool. The "tents" are very nice with toilet facilities and showers and comfortable beds. The food was good, but the staff are the best! They do everything they can to meet your needs and wants. Everyday there are two game drives into the reserve where you can get very close to amazing game……
