“The perfect getaway spot including a Jacuzzi. Spent a weekend here with my girlfriends and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. The drive up is very twisty and a bit far but the views were stunning. Sleep with the window open and listen to the river, it’s so peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend this Cabin. ”

“This is our 2nd rental of this property. All we can say is that it is exceptional in every way. If granting 6 stars were available, we would surely select this property as a worthy recipient.”

“We stayed here for easier access to get to the raceway; however, it was not as close as it seemed due to the canyon roads that this location requires you to drive in order to reach the destination. The accommodation itself is clean and welcoming, just be careful when entering the side door at night as there are many unexpected steps and I almost face planted (my fault for not using a light). There is a large living room and kitchen more than adequate for six adults to hang out play games, cook, etc. Although it is a dated home, there are several updates throughout to make it very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to make meals together. It was conveniently located 2 miles from pinnacles so a great place to stay if you wanna do daily hikes. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful property. It was very well appointed—especially for cooking. The natural surroundings were very peaceful with hiking trails right out the side gate. We did not realize the travel time to Carmel-by-the-Sea, but it was still doable. And for our five adults and family dog, it was the perfect size. ”

“While we did enjoy our time we did feel the need to give folks a bit of a heads up. Gorgeous property and great for quiet stay. The advertisement oils use an update. The pictures make the place look newer than things are, which is ok but finding loose screws and rusty nails in the fenced in area meant for dogs was a bit odd. The main thing I wish the owners would’ve communicated and maybe I missed this was that it is not as isolated and serene as advertised. We were hoping to be very alone due……

“A perfect location to do everything in the Monterey area and the home offered everyone something to do!!”

“Perfect spot for a small group if you wanna explore Big Sur. The location isn't too deep so you'll be close enough to Carmel for stores if you're not good at pscking as I am. But just deep enough you can beat the morning crowds to state parks. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.”

“Corola the property manager was amazing. The power had gone out in the area right before we got there, she was going to get us lanterns but it came back on so we called and let her know. Unfortunately the power only stayed on for 15 mins and then went back out the rest of the night. We disnt want to bother Corola to come out with the hope the power would come back on. Overall the property is very nice and bed was comfortable. Will need to visit again so we can really enjoy it more with power……

“We had a wonderful family trip to this property. We hiked at the nearby Garland Ranch Park, went to a wine tasting within walking distance of the property, BBQ'd one evening and sat around the fire pit for some dessert. There is quite a bit more to do in the area and it is within a reasonable distance from Carmel and Monterey. We had one elderly person in our group who was able to enjoy the spacious lawns with a walker. A memorable trip!”

Not much services given the price paid

"For the price per night paid here there is not much services. We asked for housekeeping to come clean our lodge twice in the morning and the room was still not cleaned till 4:30 in the afternoon, so we gave up. Calling front desk was always busy, so the easiest way is to text message them and wait for response. The next day we specifically requested housekeeping clean our room and put away the sofa bed, came back to the room and the sofa bed was still there. Room is nice though, it is well kept and quite new in comparison to many resorts nearby. The lodge is a good size if traveling with kids, with a separate living room bedroom. We find spider webs at corners, but I guess it’s good enough given the limited services here. "
