Continent breakfast self-served buffet or hot, customised English breakfast That take quite a while. If come by train, need to get a taxi ride of 8-10 minutes. We arrived late in the evening. “I had one complaint & that was there was dog mess in the car park far corner which was obviously old & some had been trodden in. Otherwise the room was clean, quite spacious & plenty of tea & coffee. The bathroom was clean & tidy with plenty of fresh towels. The breakfast was delicious & the staff were extremely friendly. ”

“Beautiful historic house set in peaceful countryside. The owners and staff were very friendly and attentive. We also booked the Sunday lunch which was delicious and spent the evening sitting by a log fire in a snug room with a cheeseboard and bottle of wine. Our bedroom was stunning. We only had an overnight stay but would love to go back for a longer stay one day.”
