“Great staff, bar was packed on arrival but we were checked in to our room straight away. Far too busy & noisy to eat in the bar, so they opened the restaurant for us and another couple so that we could eat in peace. Despite the number of customers we were served quickly and efficiently. “The check in experience was great, really friendly reception staff explained everything. Room was good size, nice and clean. Only complaint would be was top warm and window quite old and stiff to open. We had a drink in the bar and the service was atrocious!!! If we hadn't been staying there we would have walked out. “I don't know what to say other than I have sent my review to YHA with "top marks" for everything. From the friendly welcome received on check-in to the cleanliness of the room allocated, everything was absolutely perfect for the overnight stay. “Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. “Checkin was seamless, the reception isnt that well highlighted but all fine. Room was located easily. Room light and airy lovely view overlooking the garden. Breakfast was nice and pleasant staff.
