“The location is not very good, it takes about ten minutes to walk from the train station. But the environment in the hotel is great, I get what I have requested To sum up, this is a pleasent experience”

“We visited at the end of April when this hotel was still under construction. It was a minor inconvenience as we paid for a “garden view” when the view was a complete construction zone. They did upgrade our room size because of this. That being said, the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We stayed 2 nights and ate at the restaurant both nights. Their buffet breakfast is also amazing. Seeing that the hotel is no longer under construction, I would definitely stay here……

“A very convenient location and close to VISP station (Banhoff). It is a good hub for going to Zermatt and other sight seeing point. The hotel allow me an early checkin that is amazing in Europe. Thanks to that. The room is neat and tidy with a nice balcony. There is construction work nearby and the hotel provide 3M earplug for us that shows the empathy of the hotel.”

“Wonderful hotel at a very affordable price. The staff is so nice they even did our laundry for only 10 CHF. The room was so spacious with 2 bunk beds and 2 beds in separate rooms. All this plus Beautiful views of the town and mountains. Also very central 10 minutes from town center and train station. Excellent ! Do highly recommend ! ”

“WE loved this hotel, it was different. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, maybe the breakfast buffet was only so-so, but, dinner was wonderful. After staying at a hotel in Basel, we came to appreciate that what the Stockalperhoff offered, was small, personable and very enjoyable. Not fancy, but very clean. We give it 5 stars.”

“We booked a family room for four for one night and had a very pleasant stay. Room and toilet was very clean & most importantly the view from our room was the main attraction! Check in was easy as well, parking was free, breakfast was yummy and homey. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with no complaints! It's also a good mid point for Interlaken and Grindewald ”
