“Too bad that 5 stars is the maximum! This property is so welcoming as are the hosts. Our room was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and spacious. The option to open the windows provided fresh air and easy sleeping. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Anna, who we soon learned is also the chef. No need to seek a restaurant in the area since the manor's dining room featured delicious dinners and convenience for breakfast. We stayed for two nights and were sad to leave such a splendid place.”

“This is a fabulous lodge of the variety rarely seen anymore, offering personal service, a great onsite restaurant, and lots of included amenities, all on a picturesque riverfront setting. It is not a new property, made in a cookie cutter variety or modern design! If you can only enjoy those sort of places, stay away! But otherwise, you will be delighted, we were!”

“Super location, super simple, appartement room has everything you need, modern and nice view from the room. Really enjoyed and strongly recommend !!! Communication was good with friendly Sabine (?).”

“The Marmalade Motel is in a gorgeous location with rooms looking across the bay and a lovely deck per room to enjoy the views from outside. The room has all you could need, with fridge, coffee machine, tea bags, and is well sized. The bed is nice though quite squeaky. For exploring the east coast of Nova Scotia it's a great spot. Would stay here again.”

“Music playing in the background as soon as we walked in made the room tranquil and inviting. Having a luxurious feeling in the bathroom and overall room allowed us to feel at home away from home.
