“There are just 1 to 2 lobby staff helping for check in.Although the female staff is patient and friendly but the hotel quality is damn lousy.When we all family arrived in hotels,there didn't any porter come to help us carry the luggage.In room,TV is broken,toilet obstruction.Besides,there is not any multifuction plug in room.The toilet of lobby and dining floor didn't get door,it is terrible and embarass.The price is not cheap but the hotel quality is suck!”

“On the Golden Halong website, it states the hotel has a spa, gym, tour desk, room service and bar. It has none of these. The staff speak minimal english, making it difficult to ask for advice on local attractions, restaurants or shopping. The location is terrible, no where near the marina that all the tour boats operate out of. Breakfast is geared towards Chinese and if you want hot food you need to get there at 0630 hours when it opens, however, you then need to contend with all the tour……
