“You pay for fancy lobbies or pools or free breakfast in big chain hotels where they lack character and are not at all convenient to check in or unload luggage.plus you CC pay for the amenities you often don’t need or use. Walnut Inn was impeccably clean. Seems recently renovated top notch. Beds are comfortable. You can back up to your door to offload luggage. Lobby and grounds very well kept and appealing. Diner is in same parking lot. Gas station across street. I-40 is short distance. Close……

The location is in an unassuming area of a parking lot full of potholes, but since the motel is in a corner of the shopping center, it was quiet and felt tucjed away. I would stay here again. The pricing for the room is affordable, less than $100 a night.”
