After calling them back they did see that we were not supposed to checkout that day! Even though the grounds were beautiful it was hard to enjoy because it felt like you were always being watched by the caretakers whose house was connected to the cabin we stayed in. “This place is bigger than what it looks like from photos. There were 3 of us adults and my 5 year old. Everyone had their own space and we loved that the pools were only a two minute walk away. It is a quiet complex which I very much appreciated. Having access to the private beach at the beach club was great. We did explore another beach that was only a 10 minute drive away from the resort. The place itself was fully stocked in the kitchen but the only thing I couldn’t find was hot pads/oven……

“Really enjoyed my time here. I love staying in the Mauna Lani area, it's the perfect homebase for exploring the island... and having keycard access to the local beach club is a huge bonus. The snorkeling there is some of the best thanks to the protected cove. The condo itself was great - clean, comfortable and well appointed, including plenty of kitchen stuff and beach gear. The property managers left great instructions and were quick to replace the pool and beach access cards that had gone……

“We visit the Big Island, Hawaii, annually and have stayed at some lovely and not-so-lovely condos. This time we hit the jackpot, a spotlessly clean, well-appointed condo in a prime location near Mauna Lani and the Fairmont. Everything, absolutely everything, was provided. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, lots of kitchen tools and a plethora of spices. The owner was gracious and very considerate. This property raises the bar for what exceptional means.”

“Place was very comfortable and well maintained away from crowds. Only Info, which could have been included in hosts very informative binder is more specifics about beach access directions even though beach is close by. Also info on takeout restaurants since we arrived kind of late.”

“Unit very functional, although a few more kitchen items like a whisk and salad spinner would help. Lanai furniture needs a serious upgrade and rearranging. The 4 lounges stored in the small lanai took up too much space and were less than appealing in cleanliness. The extra bbq also takes up valuable space. So an overhaul with new furniture designed for sitting outdoors would really enhance the unit. The Mauna Lani shopping and restaurant area looks depressed with so many shops closed. The resort……

“We loved our stay. There is absolutely nothing we would change. The unit was gorgeous, well situated with amazing view and so clean and well stocked. The Westin property lacks for nothing! The property Manager, Debbie, provided lots of information and was really responsive quickly to every question, as was the hotel and staff at the Residences office. Our stay was exquisite. ”
