“The hotel is just a short walk from the port and it’s about 7 min away from Lion Square. The sound proof is amazing considering it’s on a main street and very close to the airport. Dimitri made some very good recommendations on restaurants - all of our meals have been amazing in Heraklion. The only recommendation I made is to replenish bottled water every day, rather than just giving 2 small bottles for the whole say. But all in all, good value for money and great hospitality! ”

“Very nice and clean hotel! Reception was closed but I got very detailed instructions before arrival on how to retreive my key and find the room. I was also gifted sweets and wine. I loved that the fridge was bigger than usual hotel fridges/minibar. I also got the breakfast, which was served at a nearby café, and I got my breakfast served at the table. Very cozy place and everything was tasty! Highly recommend this hotel!”

“This is our fourth stay at the Metropole. We choose this hotel for its convenient location and cute little square with cafes right next to it. It is a short drive from the airport and there is a car parking lot very close to it (not managed by the hotel). The check-in is quick and efficient, even if you arrive late due to plane delays. The rooms are clean and modern.”

“This is the first five star review I've ever left for a hotel in Crete. The Lady who liked after us during the stay was amazingly kind, helpful and generous. The property is gorgeous and the apartments are incredibly well furnished & arranged. The pictures do not do them justice. The beach is literally across the road and the town square is a 4 minute walk. Many good restaurants just steps away. This should be on the top of everyone's list of places to stay when visiting Kalamaki.”

“2 beds and 2 bath with a large living room with big sofas. Only missing a washing machine. Laundry was mentioned on Expedia but it was actually not there. A few design issues such 2TVs were too close with each other so one remote starts 2 TVs. We arrived at 7AM the hotel gave us access code to the entrance to store our luggage which is nice. No clear instruction on garbage disposal. ”

“Hotel nuovo letto comodo camera dotata di tutti i confort forno a microonde piastra induzione frigo televisore con netflix. Ottima accoglienza con indicazione spiagge e ristoranti. Buona colazione servita in veranda all ombra con musica rilassante. Piccolo distributore con l essenziale utilissimo posto auto. Zona periferica vicino raccordo serve un auto per muovervi. Per la perfezione mancherebbe solo una piscina. Lo consiglio. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. ”
