“Staying at JJ's Hana Hale was a highlight of our trip to Maui. We decided to do a weekend on the Hana Road, and instead of driving back to our resort on the other side of the island, we stayed with the Jahns' Saturday night. They had all of the important amenities - shower, kitchen, comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a few others that were extremely nice bonuses. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this property is if you are allergic to or don't like animals. You share the yard with……

“We had last been to Hana in 2003, and were looking forward to our three night stay. This place was an excellent choice for us. We sat on the deck each morning and evening. The view over the tree canopy is beautiful. Waking up to the bird songs is wonderful way to start the day. You can hear the ocean just over the trees. The bed is comfortable. We had what we needed for tea and coffee and cooked at home a bit. It feels very spacious for a couple. It’s far enough away from the road in the trees……

“Our second stay in this house (top floor only).Easy booking, clear instructions, has as described. Great location for our stay in Hana. Helpful host!We were familiar with the house and it is as advertised. The only issue was two of the fans don't work as they should (one moves little to no air now as compared to our last stay) and the other started making very loud noises during the night and woke 2 of us up. When they are fixed all will be great! ”
