“Our second visit to this delightful establishment. The setting and surrounding area is so pretty, plenty of parking spaces and an easy walk to the nearby bar and restaurant. The staff are so welcoming and have time to talk to you, most important in my opinion Checking in was easy. We booked a suite and we were very happy with it as it was stylish and also had everything we could possibly need including a Nespresso coffee maker!! “One of the best hotel rooms that I have stayed in and excellent for the price. Let down a bit by the lack of sugar free options at breakfast. Ok if you like chocolate buttons and waffles but not if you prefer sugar free muesli, fresh fruit salad, nuts and soya milk. I know that I can get these at other chain hotels so these would be my first choice ”

“This was a cheap and basic room i booked for a quick overnight stay to break up a long drive home. It suited my needs just fine and i have no complaints for less than £40 The polite young lady who showed me to my room gave me all the necessary info and checked i was happy with the room. No food at the venue so i got a couple of things from local supermarket. ”

“Plenty of space to park, The hotel is nicely decorated clean and modern. The room was quite spacious with twin beds ample wardrobe and drawer space. Tea coffee kettle in the room. Tv. The bathroom was a good size with shower cubical sink and loo. Complimentary soaps shampoos and shower gels. Free wifi for guests.. We ordered food before going out for the evening. The food was nice and fairly priced as were the drinks from the bar. The beds were comfortable , 2 pillows on each bed. The……

“My meal on Sunday evening was the best I’ve ever had, and the service by Rula wonderful and friendly.. room was delightful and breakfast delicious hot and perfectly served. Excellent choice the only problem was when paying generally with Hotels.com I pay before I leave home and can use my Keycash points but as Mellor took funds on leaving the deputy manager didn’t know how to use my credit which would have covered my meal. She tried to phone but apparently couldn’t get through. I will be taking……

“Beautiful hotel with a great history - from the drive up to the hotel you get a good feeling. Parking was straight forward just remember to put your registration number into machine at reception. Reception staff were amazing - didn't get his name but what a credit to himself and the company - so friendly - polite - helpful and upbeat - great start to the stay. Through the amazing old house to our room - we even got a complimentary room upgrade (thank you) old sweeping staircases - oak panelling……
