“Really nice room in a lovely coaching inn. Quality bedding , towels etc. comfy bed. Booked & prepaid thru Hotels.com and when we arrived we were a little taken aback to be charged an extra £20 for our little dog. It would have been nice to have known about this extra fee beforehand as it came as a bit of a shock , I didn’t get any reply from accommodation following my messaging them & also leaving a telephone message to say we’re bringing our dog. Other than that , a good stay. ”

“Landlord and staff very friendly and accommodating. Food very good. Building in need of updating and attention. Not suitable if you go to bed early as noise from bar can keep you awake. Bed very comfortable. Good breakfast ”

“This was an unscheduled stop on route to Cornwall due to bad weather. What a pleasant surprise, a beautiful old Inn a short distance from the A30. The staff were friendly and helpful, great service a lovely evening meal and an excellent breakfast. We will definitely be returning with hopefully better weather.”
