“We loved our stay at Larry and Betty's place in Hawi on the big island of Hawai'i. We happily could have stayed longer. We were there for 3 nights in March 2025. Hawi is a great place to visit. It has a nice, slow pace and lots to do in the area to keep busy for a few days. The nearby snorkeling at Mahukona Harbor was top notch and the best we experienced on the island during our week-long stay.Betty and Larry's vacation rental had absolutely everything we needed, and a lot more! “The host was great so kind sharing local spots for hiking food photography of gorgeous sunsets and beautiful beach excursions nearby. Each morning We had a wonderful time waking up looking at Maui in the distance with Haleakala, towering from the blue Pacific Ocean. Such a relaxing environment with fruit trees, animals, cool breezes and breathtaking beauty all around thank you so much for a great mini getaway for my wife and I. ”
