“Leslie was a wonderful host, she made sure if we needed anything just ask. The property was very clean. Very quiet neighborhood with 200yr old trees lining the street. Easy to walk and historic Georgetown just a mile away with many shops and excellent restaurants ”

“Great place at Litchfield by the Sea. This unit is well kept and well appointed. Location is perfect within the resort with a close walk to pool and beach. Also has a nice view of marsh on the back deck.”

“This property was amazing and perfect for what we needed. I love the 4bdrms and the spacing of those 4bdrms. 2 of them were in their own space (which my 17yo loved). I can't say enough about this property. All the comforts of home were provided. Pete provided lots of information about the property, restaurants, and activities. The access to the beach was beautiful. I have stayed in MB every year for the last 25 years. I only want to stay in Pawley's island specifically Shore Thing (lol)……

“The house was everything the listing said it was. It was big enough for our group of 9, with room to spare. It was very clean and more amenities than needed. Tony was great. Any questions we had he got right back to us.The downside unfortunately was the other people on the complex. You can hear the noise from outside the pool area and the people above you.Some people just don’t have any consideration for others.”

“The condo was perfect for our quick getaway. Perfectly located near local shopping and dining. Well equipped and nicely decorated. Guest services responded quickly when we couldn’t figure out the TV. Just make sure you know that the property is located inside the Litchfield Beach and Golf Resort and you check in at their front desk. We loved this property and would highly recommend it.”

“This was the best organized rental we have used. Communication was exceptional, rental has been recently renovated and is very clean . Close to the beach and pickle ball courts. Litchfield is a great gated community. Highly recommend Barefeet retreat ”

“Owner is very responsive. Condo and furniture are updated. Great views of the 11th fairway. Area is quiet at night. Had a great time playing nearby golf courses. Many great restaurants in the area.”

“We, parents with daughter, son-in-law and infant, had a nice time at this townhome. We liked the large deck with a peaceful view of the pond and tons of birds. Easy walk to the beach and a nice area for walks.”

“We encountered no communication from VRBO concerning checkout/checkin. We also found palmetto bugs( roaches) . I called Litchfield resorts and they came 24 hrs ltr. The kitchen had no paper towels, dish soap and the silverware was dirty😖”

“Spent 5 nights. Clean on arrival, nice place, good view. Several issues including WiFi not operating, only one dishwasher soap, no dish soap or towels or dish cloths. Borrowed from sister. Required to laundry towels on departure but provided no laundry soap. No hand soap in kitchen, not much toilet paper. Other condos we've stayed in AZ, FL, CA all this provided, which it should be to a certain extent.”

“Dish washer outdated/didn’t clean properly, baking sheets were rusted & really dirty along with some pots, pans and dishes, garbage disposal in sink was extremely loud and shook the counter, washer/dryer outdated & dryer took FOREVER to dry clothes.”

“We loved our stay. Everything about the condo was just right, including the proximity to beach access. We loved the hammock and picnic table under the house as well. We would definitely return!”

“Sitting on the back porch drinking coffee every morning looking over the lake was just breath taking. Really enjoyed seeing all of the birds flying around as well as the fish jumping out of the water. We really enjoyed all the comforts of home. Everything we needed was provided for our comfort.”

“Great location, easy walk to the beach. Check out required laundering the towels, but no detergent was provided at the unit. Also, would be nice to have a small amount of dishwashing detergent. A few maintenance issues were noted and sent to the property manager.”
