“My family stayed here for a wedding in newtown. What a lovely apartment! It was a rainy cooler june weekend so we didnt get to enjoy the outdoor space as much but parts of the patio/deck was covered which was great. The pingpong table and some porch areas needed a sweep but otherwise it was delightful, clean, cozy. We’d stay here again. ”

“Wonderful quiet space for visiting the New Hope area. Nicely stocked coffee/tea bar in kitchen including some snacks. Very clean and comfortable. The area had a storm while we were there and lost power but this place has a generator that kicked on and we continued to have power. ”

“The home was lovely. 4 of us stayed, as we were in town for a memorial. After the memorial 10 of us gathered to look at pictures and chat. It was comfortable for a get together. Rooms were spacious and clean. We really enjoy our stay and would definitely stay here in the future. Host was helpful and quickly responded to our questions. ”

“Six friends and I rented Joan's lovely pace for a personal reunion, and our 50th high school reunion for a week in June. The VRBO pictures and descriptions did not do the place justice! So many comfy places to gather inside and out, and the added attraction of being right on the Delaware River made our 4-night stay extra special. The house was spotlessly clean; the kitchen well-appointed, and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. Joan is the consummate hostess who was available from the moment……

“We filled both houses with a family members to attend a family reunion near by. The reunion was great but the best time we had was our stay at the farm. There is plenty of space and lots of rooms. Everyone had something to do. We used the boats, practiced frisbee golf, hit some golf balls, sat by the fire pit and played ping pong. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The decor is fun and interesting”

“My family had a great stay here. It's a very unique and artful space. It worked great for six of us varying in age ranges with 2 adults and 4 kids. The Salvage Sip Cafe just up Main Street has great coffee and some breakfast items like croissants, bagels, and muffins. We're in this area somewhat regularly and would definitely stay here again. :-)”

“Beautiful historic property with recent updates. If you have mobility issues, might not be good as all bedrooms are upstairs and stairs could be challenging. Otherwise, this is an outstanding property and our stay was fantastic. ”

“We had a lovely time at this property! The house is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We had three adults and two children in our group, and we had plenty of options for sleeping arrangements. We loved walking to Homestead Coffee in the mornings for coffee and breakfast, and enjoyed Descendants for dinner. Thank you for the wonderful experience! ”
