“Landlord and staff very friendly and accommodating. Food very good. Building in need of updating and attention. Not suitable if you go to bed early as noise from bar can keep you awake. Bed very comfortable. Good breakfast ”

“Really nice place - great fire, excellent food and beer. Room was just what I needed (and they surprised me with an upgrade). Staff were lovely. 12 hours solid sleep - couldn't have asked for more. Able to pre-order breakfast if wanted enabled me to have a lie in.”
